Like most sea vegetables, these marine plants are high in minerals (up to 10 times greater than those found in soil plants) and vitamins A, B, E, D and K.

Kelp contains a rich natural source of salts and minerals. The variety of salts and minerals (including iodine, magnesium, potassium, iron and calcium) in Kelp help keep the dog's entire glandular system, the pituitary gland, the adrenal gland, as well as the thyroid gland, the glands that regulate metabolism, healthy.

Kelp is also high in antioxidants including flavonoids and carotenoids that protect against free radicals.

It has more than 10 times the antioxidant capacity of vitamin E. And it's shown to offer better protection to cell membranes than vitamin A.

Kelp contains algin which is valuable in removing heavy metals from your dog.

Kelp is rich in antioxidants that fight against disease-causing free radicals in your dog's body.

The protein content of Kelp can help support your dogs skin and coat, so it can be an amazing addition to a dogs diet and especially in those prone to colour dilution alopecia.

Some studies have even found Kelp to help aid in defence again external parasites such as fleas!

Kelp is such an incredible addition to the diet that it can help energy levels and studies show those fed Kelp tend to see fewer infections.

Kelp can be added to food daily, start with ⅓ of the doseage on our packaging & build up over 3 weeks to the full doseage.
